Lalit Narayan Mithila University
Distance Education (LNMUDE) was established
in the year 1972. It is a government University
situated in Darbhanga Bihar. The University
is recognized by the University Grant Commission
(UGC). The University offers graduate and
postgraduate courses in faculties of humanities,
social sciences, life sciences, commerce,
and medicine. Since its inception, the University
has evolved a lot and now it has 67 (43 constituent
and 24 affiliated colleges) colleges.
In
order to provide world-class education,
it has strong national and international
linkages for teaching. The university has
a beautiful campus with the lush green land
spread over 230 acres.
